ESCoE Topic Leads – Opportunities to work with us

[Please note that applications are now closed] ESCoE are seeking to appoint a group of Topic Leads to provide leadership in key areas of economic measurement research, overlapping with the development of international standards in economic statistics and ONS areas of focus and building on our research programme, including:

• Nowcasting
• Welfare and Beyond GDP
• Prices
• Public Sector Measurement
• Digitalisation
• Globalisation
• Natural Capital
• Regional Statistics
• Skills and Labour Markets
• Communicating Statistics

ESCoE Topic Leads will be involved in a range of activities contributing to our overall mission to develop the economic measurement research agenda and to support the development of economic statistics in the UK. They will engage in horizon scanning and activities to support research impact.

Applicants must have acknowledged expertise in economics and use of economic statistics. The commitment is expected to be around 12 days per annum. Closing date for applications is Tuesday 8th June 2021 at noon (BST).
