The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Centre for Applied Economic Research and the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) will hold a joint conference on 25-26 November 2024 at UNSW Sydney, Australia.
This event is supported by the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (a collaboration with the UK Office for National Statistics), the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the UNSW Business School and School of Economics.
The conference will be free to attend and held in person. Join us for discussions on recent research advances in economic measurement and statistics. Registration closes on 11 November 2024.
Preliminary programme
The programme contains papers on many aspects of the measurement and use of economic statistics, including:

- Land and natural resources
- Price indices
- Public sector productivity
- System of National Accounts 2025

There will be special sessions on environmental economic accounting and micro data research in economics.
