Francesca Foliano

Francesca Foliano is a labour economist in the Department of Economics at the University of Southampton, and Research Associate at Stockholm School of Economics and the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE).

As part of her research for ESCoE she is exploring the potential of newly available time use data, collected by the Office for National Statistics, to 1) provide new measures of remote working for the UK and 2) understand how working patterns of remote and office workers have differed since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and up until three years after the end of social restrictions.
