Jakob Schneebacher
Jakob is an Associate Director at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), a member of the ESCoE Leadership Executive and a visiting fellow at King’s College London.
Before joining the IFS, Jakob helped set up the Competition and Markets Authority’s research-focused Microeconomics Unit, led the Office for National Statistics’ firm-level microdata research and held a fellowship at Nuffield College, Oxford. Jakob is interested in measuring and understanding how firms are created, compete, adapt and grow.
