Prabhat Vaze

Prabhat is Director of Economics at Belmana, a research consultancy specialising in policy analysis, evaluation and the use of linked data.

His recent work focuses on using administrative and business data to understand public policy impacts, including large-scale econometric evaluations of innovation support using linked firm-level datasets. He has also worked on studies of business support, regional growth, and the wider impacts of data use and digital infrastructure.

Before co-founding Belmana, Prabhat held senior analytical roles in the UK Civil Service, including Director of Analysis at the Ministry of Defence, Chief Economist at the Office for National Statistics, and senior economist at the Department for Transport
