Sarur Chaudhary

Sarur is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Cambridge. His research interests span International Trade, Digital Economy and Development Economics. During his PhD, he looks to study how integration into global markets is affected by advancements in technology and infrastructure. Sarur’s previous research experience involves work with the World Bank and MIT’s Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).  He also interned with Mexico’s Finance Ministry, covering Special Economic Zones. Sarur holds an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
