Sharada Nia Davidson
Sharada is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Strathclyde and affiliated with the Fraser of Allander Institute. One strand of Sharada’s work involves using (Bayesian) macroeconometric techniques to shed light on different issues in economics. The second strand involves liaising with stakeholders across the UK to develop the frameworks required to improve the quality of economic indicators and inform underpinning data strategy. To date, she has focused on subnational statistics, leading work appraising the UK’s and Northern Ireland’s subnational economic and socioeconomic indicators and delivering projects on interregional trade data collection and estimation, and regional supply and use tables.
