Silvia Ferrini
Dr Silvia Ferrini, has a PhD in Applied Statistics and holds a part-time position as Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment at the University of Siena and part-time Lecturer in Environmental Economics at the Institute for Sustainable Resources, University College London
Silvia has over 15 years of experience in valuing environmental goods and services and developing methodologies to improve economic assessments. Silvia has successfully work with governmental organisations, higher education institutes and private sectors. Silvia is currently the leading economist for one of the funded projects for the Sustainable Management of UK Marine Resources programme and co-leader for two H2020 projects where she is leading the accounting and assessment of marine ecosystem services. In the past, Silvia collaborated with the EU-DG ENV for the testing and developing natural capital accounts and published influential papers/reports on accounting for ecosystem services.
