Tim Obermeier

Tim is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at IFS. He completed the Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Mannheim in 2019. His research interests are in Public and Labour Economics and focus on topics related to inequality and public policy. In recent projects, he has analyzed firms’ hiring decisions with respect to the long-term unemployed, the impact of tax policy on family decision-making and gender differences in occupational choice.
