University of Wolverhampton students learn about economic measurement

ESCoE Engagement Director Darren Morgan recently visited the University of Wolverhampton to give a presentation to third year Economics students.

The presentation covered economic measurement and career opportunities in this area and was followed by an hour of questions from the students.

“The presentation was not only informative but also highly inspiring, and it connected academic learning with real-world professional experience in a way that truly resonated with the cohort.

The feedback from our students has been phenomenal. Many of them particularly appreciated the practical insights, honesty about career pathways, and the clarity with which the presentation addressed employability, professional development, and industry expectations. The interactive nature of the session and the opportunity to ask questions made a significant impact.

It has added immense value to their learning experience and has certainly broadened their perspective as they prepare for the next stage of their careers.”

Chigozie Chukwu, Lecturer in Economics, University of Wolverhampton.

Thank you to the University of Wolverhampton for inviting ESCoE to present and to students for engaging so well with the session.
