The UK has been developing Natural Capital Accounts for the last 10 years. Over that time the methods and data have matured along with the priority of the environment for public policy. This talk will work through the challenges faced in building the accounts as they are; what they can already do; the possibilities for the future of natural capital accounting and what it will take to achieve them.
