Programme

The 38th IARIW General Conference, organised in partnership with the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE), will take place on 26-30 August 2024.  

The IARIW (International Association for Research in Income and Wealth) advances knowledge on income and wealth for better measurement and outcomes.

Join us for discussions on recent research around income and wealth.

Topics include:

  • The definition, measurement, and analysis of national income and wealth
  • The distribution of income and wealth, and poverty
  • The development of systems of economic and social accounting and their use for economic policy
  • International comparisons

We will make every effort to minimise changes to the programme, but it will remain subject to change at any time prior to the conference. Please ensure you allow for changes to the programme when making your travel arrangements. 

IARIW will also run optional training sessions before the conference on 24 and 25 August. These will focus on National Accounts and poverty measurement.


* It has been brought to our attention that some speakers are being approached by third party organisations to try and arrange accommodation for the IARIW conference.
