Jakob Schneebacher
Jakob is the Assistant Director of Econometrics in the Competition and Market Authority’s (CMA) research-focused Microeconomics Unit, and a visiting fellow at King’s College London. Previously, Jakob led the development of the Longitudinal Business Database and the second wave of the Management and Expectations Survey at the UK Office for National Statistics, alongside related research. Beforehand, he held a Nuffield Prize Fellowship in Economics at the University of Oxford. Jakob is interested in measuring and understanding how firms are created, compete, adapt and grow.
