ESCoE Economic Statistics User Survey

Please note that this survey is now closed. We thank all who took part.

As a follow-up to a project looking at the ‘value of economic statistics’, the ESCoE is undertaking a survey on users’ experiences of using and accessing ONS economic statistics. The findings will help support the work of the UN Economic Commission for Europe’s Value of Official Statistics Taskforce and also inform ONS plans to improve economic statistics.

A similar survey was undertaken in 2017 and we would like all users to take part, both those who participated four years ago and those who didn’t. This survey will provide insights on how perceptions have changed since the previous survey and also reflect the impact of economic statistics through the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be assured that your responses will only be used for research purposes and any personal information will be treated in confidence. The privacy notice can be found here.

Please answer in your own capacity as a professional or personal user rather than on behalf of your whole organisation.

We appreciate you taking the time to participate in this survey. There are 19 questions which should take about 5-10 minutes to complete overall. The survey works best on a PC. You can access the survey here.

We would be grateful if you could complete the survey by 3 January 2022. If you have any difficulties with completing the survey or have any questions about the project, please contact ESCoE Research Associate Johnny Runge at j.runge@niesr.ac.uk.
