Anne Owen

Anne Owen is an Associate Professor in the Sustainability Research Institute at the University of Leeds.

Anne is responsible for producing the macro-economic trade model that calculates the UK’s Carbon Footprint for Defra. This annually produced account is now an Official Statistic. Anne teaches Quantitative Research Methods including Input Output Analysis on Masters courses at the University of Leeds and her research interests include understanding the role that consumption patterns might have on meeting the UK’s Net Zero targets.
