Rachel Soloveichik

Rachel Soloveichik works at the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) as a national accounts researcher. Her current research studies both intangible assets, such as marketing or data, and tangible assets, such as natural resources or pollution cleanup. She has also studied new consumption categories, such as illegal services or “free” digital content. In 2013, her groundbreaking work on entertainment originals paved the way for BEA to track those intangible assets as capital in the national income and product accounts.
