Will McDowall

Will McDowall is an Associate Professor in Innovation and Sustainability at the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources and UCL Energy Institute. He is also an Associate at the Institute for Government.

He has 15 years of experience in environmental social science research and policy advice roles related to energy, climate change and innovation. He has particular expertise in the fields of energy innovation policy, green economy, and in the application of energy system modelling to explore long-term energy futures. In addition to research, Will lectures on the economics and policy of innovation and sustainability.
