Norbert Pfeifer

Norbert Pfeifer is a research associate at the University of Graz. He conducts research in the field of real estate statistics, where he recently completed his Ph.D. in economics with honors. His dissertation focuses on improving the quality of house price indices using hedonic and machine learning methods. He is also working on an international comparison of housing affordability. In addition to his academic work, he is a consultant for the European Statistical Office (Eurostat), where he advises the national statistical offices and central banks of the Eurozone on the compilation of commercial real estate indicators.
