Thomas Crossley

Thomas Crossley is a British-Canadian economist, currently based in Italy. Past appointments include McMaster University (Canada), the Institute for Fiscal Studies, the University of Cambridge and Essex University. He is an ONS Fellow, an Associate Director of Understanding Society (the UK’s major longitudinal household survey) and an elected member of the Conference on Research in Income and Wealth. His interests in economic measurement span the design, collection and analysis of survey data; the measurement of income, wealth and consumption; integrated data (combining survey and admin data); price indices and the cost of living; the measurement of living standards, inequality and poverty.
