The Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) held its annual conference, organised in partnership with the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS), at King’s College London, 8 – 10 May 2019.
The conference covered recent developments in the measurement and use of economic statistics, including: the productivity puzzle, the digital economy, National Accounts and ‘Beyond GDP’, regional statistics, measurement using big data and administrative data, international trade flows and the location of economic activity.
This issue of the National Institute Economic Review included six papers focusing on research which emerged from the conference.
